Who we are
This website is run by DATA HORIZON CONSULTING LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17500437, with its registered office at 483 Green Lanes, London, England, N13 4BS, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described below.
For any question about your data: contact@datahorizonconsulting.com.
The data we collect
- Contact form: name, email address, company, country, service and budget of interest, and the content of your message.
- Emails and phone calls: the information you choose to share with us.
- Audience measurement, only if you accept it: pages viewed, visit duration, device and browser type, and approximate country or city, collected by Google Analytics.
Why we use it
- Replying to your request and preparing a proposal: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (UK and EU GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Measuring and improving how the site is used: your consent (Article 6(1)(a), and the PECR / ePrivacy cookie rules).
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract:
- Resend (delivering contact-form messages to our inbox).
- Google (Google Analytics, only with your consent).
- Our website host and our email provider.
Transfers outside the UK and EU
Some providers may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension) or by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Contact requests: 3 years after our last exchange, unless you become a client (the data is then kept for the relationship and the legal periods that follow).
- Audience-measurement data: 14 months at most.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores your theme (light or dark) and your cookie choice in your browser. This information never leaves your device and is needed for the site to work.
If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies for up to 13 months. If you decline, no Google script is loaded. Your choice is kept for 13 months (accept) or 6 months (decline), and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase or port your data, or to restrict its processing; object to processing based on our legitimate interest; and withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at contact@datahorizonconsulting.com; we reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK, or to the data-protection authority in your country, such as the CNIL (cnil.fr) in France.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
